Go backstage and behind the scenes to find out what the radio and music industries are really like. A “not-so-good” college roommate situation led Annie to her first dalliance in the music world as a concert programmer. From there, she made the jump into radio promotions and marketing at a major market radio station, working with clients, the community, and the record industry. Meeting and working with new artists turned out to be her favorite part of the job, which led her to Triple Tigers Records, a Nashville record label, as a record promoter working with Scott McCreery, Russell Dickerson, and other top country artists. Plus, I ask her when she thinks we’ll be able to go to live concerts again.
