I have a passion for all things marketing and love creating ideas and concepts for business owners. My career started as a television sales rep at an ABC affiliate years ago. I worked for several affiliates, NBC and CBS, to name a few in different markets, where I created full campaigns that started with branding, creative ideas, strategies, and media placements. I realized I wanted to expand my marketing toolbox and utilize all media.
In 2008, I started my own company with my business partner and formed Chester Lee Marketing. We created a food show and brand for Kroger called Fresh Ideas with Leigh Ann. I wore many hats, from executive producer and sales and marketing rep to web developer and social media director for the company.
The show consisted of 2 minutes of demonstrating how to make easy and quick meals at home. Each segment featured a different vendor that funded the entire campaign. We placed the show and ran it during Oprah, the Today Show, Ellen, and Dr. Phil across the country. I created a website for the show, and back then, a Facebook page was top of the line. We had our own Facebook page and ran the videos in the newsfeed.
As the brand, Fresh Ideas with Leigh Ann, became well-known across the country, I felt a bigger need to understand all facets of digital marketing.
In 2018, I went to work for Digital Marketing Group and have loved every minute of it. My knowledge and understanding of all things digital, which include targeted, social, SEM/SEO, and connected TV or OTT, grows each day.
